Shoe Shoppin'

First thing this morning, I finished the book I was reading. Then I "tidied" up a bit downstairs. I worked a little on the grocery list. I need to go to Kroger tomorrow as I need a few things for some recipes. It is Labor Day weekend so the store will probably be crowded. Oh, well, maybe I can get up and out early before it gets too crowded. Marie and I talked for a short time realizing how close our little trip is. After lunch, I called the shoe store to see if the owner was there today, as I need her to get shoes to fit me correctly. This is a mom and pop shoe store...long time in the family...PLUS...they measure your foot, which is a good thing since my feet continue to grow...bought the largest size I have ever bought today. I was told your nose, ears, and feet never stop growing...isn't that wonderful...not! I still haven't gotten back to stitching...maybe in a little while I will get back to it. To be continued!
