No snow today and it got above freezing so what we had is quickly disappearing. The icicles are dropping from the eaves...rather dangerous!
Woody got up early and headed to work, worked, walked at lunch, worked some more, and then came home to rest and relax. The pain that has his attention today is in his left arm...pain that he attributes to radiation.
I had school with Esther and Joy this morning and listened to Graham read this afternoon. Abigail had surgery this morning...the doctor needed to clean out her right ear (so he could see how it had healed and whether there is still a hole in her ear drum (there is) and then put a tube in her left ear. So she has had a quiet day of being pampered...jello and chocolate pudding awaited her return from surgery. I took care of her while the rest of her family went to church this evening. We read LOTS of stories! She's doing very well...she is becoming quite the pro at surgery! I did get the quilting done on the center portion of Esther's quilt...now to figure out how to calculate what I want to put on one of the borders...let's see who is smarter...me or the sewing machine...at the moment the calculating seems rather confusing...the machine does the calculating...but I have to plug the right numbers into the right places! But...right now I'm heading back downstairs to watch some more of the Olympics.
