I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

A Bonus Taste of Thanksgiving!
One of my favorite leftovers of the Thanksgiving meal is a hot turkey sandwich...sort of hard to have when one doesn't cook a turkey! Melany and Wade came to my rescue. They brought us a few slices from their turkey. So I was a happy camper at lunch today. We had a short visit with Melany and Erin this morning. Wade didn't get to come as he had to stay at home to wait on a delivery that was supposed to have come yesterday. Melany go the Christmas stocking that she had needlepointed for Brooke, Alex's fiance. We sat masked and talked for a few minutes before it was time for the two of them to go to Nathan and Kathy's for lunch. It has been another quiet day during the long Thanksgiving weekend other than their visit. Woody has watched football most of the afternoon while he has been connected for his dialysis. Tomorrow is the day that we don't "do" dialysis...just fill him up with the dialysis solution at night before he goes to bed so he can go for what they call a PET test at the dialysis center Monday from 9 until 2 or 2:30. So that is how he will spend the last day of November 2020! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious! 'Tis the season! And, here's a green barn for my Christmas red and green barn series of photos:
