I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

A Fix-It Day
It wasnt very far into the morning that Nathan showed up to remove the old battery from the green car and head out to get a new one. It wasn't long till he was back and got the new one installed. As he was about to drive off, the repairman showed up to fix the dryer. That didnt take long to get fixed either. So we should be "fixed" for a while! Woody will go tomorrow for his first Keytruda infusion. We're hoping that these treatments go as well as they did five years ago. Tomorrow is delivery day for Woody's dialysis supplies. This is the first time that they havent been delivered the day before. I hope that they come early in the morning. This week is filled with lots of things...busy week! But at the moment all is quiet in our household. Woody is on the last of four cycles for his dialysis and I am happily sitting in my recliner typing tonight's blog. It has been a beautiful day. Woody even spent a little time outside working in one of the gardens. He was working where the leaves need to be hand picked out rather than raked. It is so nice to have it feel like Spring is just around the corner! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
