Is It Possible? Graham is 24!

How time does pass…all too quickly!  It doesn’t seem possible that Graham could be 24, but unbelievably that many years have passed since I heard him cry through the phone lines not long after he was born in Texas.  Woody and I drove to see him for the first time in March during my Spring Break from Montessori.  On that trip to Texas, we stopped in Missouri to see Woody's sister who was dying from colon cancer.  After our visit we continued on our way to meet Graham.  I believe that we had been at Nathan's, Kathy's and Graham's about thirty minutes before we got the news that Tammy had passed away.  We stayed in TX until the funeral and then went back to MO for the visitation and funeral and then turned back around to head back to TX.  Interesting what memories pop in to my mind at times.  I hadn't thought of this back and forth trip of both great joy and great sorrow until I started writing tonight's blog.

I have had a fairly busy day.  I did my Krogering and then put everything away.  I had my lunch and then felt the need of a nap.  I did take a nap, then talked with a friend on the phone for a while.  I did manage to do one of the things on my to-do list…the kitchen and downstairs bathroom.  I dust mopped them and then mopped them…a task that I had good intentions to do for quite a few days…glad that I finally got them mopped.

This evening I plan to listen to a book and do some more stitching. I will end with a BIG happy birthday to Graham.  We will celebrate his birthday on Sunday,

To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
