I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Joseph Celebrates Being 8!
Joseph and his family stopped by our house after they had lunch at Zaxby's (Joseph got to choose where they had lunch.). We had our gift to him all ready for him to stop by. I think he was pretty happy with his remote control stunt car that rolls over and changes shape with the push of a button. It could get stuck under our counter, but if Joseph pushed one button it would usually free itself. We found out that they don't all fit on the family room couch any more. The interest on the TV was the Auburn basketball game. They stayed till the game was over. As you can see the room is pretty full of medical "stuff" so hard to fit a large group into the room! But the kitchen became the race track for experimenting with the new vehicle...most were interested in trying it out. They left to go home to bathe a puppy as someone was coming to consider giving him a home. Kathy was very hopeful and wanted him to be as sweet smelling as possible! After they headed home, I headed to the library to turn in a stack of books and to find some more to keep Woody occupied. He is already well into one of them. I will end with a BIG happy birthday to Joseph...lookin' good for 8! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
