I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Plans Changed
I have posted a barn photo, but not one taken today. We postponed our barn trip because Marie wasn't feeling well. I could have really gotten in a lot of sewing and stitching, but I didn't do a lot of either. I did manage to make another neck warmer for Woody. That means that the scraps from one of the fabrics that were on the table can now be moved off to make room for the next sewing project. We didn't go anywhere today...a stay-at-home day. I like that kind of day better and better these days! The only reason I went outside today was to get the mail and to take the garbage can to the road and to take our trash and recycle out. The rest of the time we have stayed in trying to keep warm. Our temperatures are on a downward swing once again. It's supposed to be quite cold by early morning and then they aren't supposed to rise very much during the day. We do have to get out tomorrow, as Woody has his appointment at TN Oncology here in Tullahoma to get his next Keytruda infusion. We usually like morning appointments, but we may be very glad for an afternoon one tomorrow since it is supposed to be so cold. Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
