I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Rainy Day
Look closely at tonight's photo and you will see that this has three barns in one picture...that doesn't happen very often. Today Woody had an appointment with his Feesenius Kidney Center nurse. It was just the routine monthly appointment for labs to be drawn prior to his next appointment with Dr. O and the kidney "team." I guess we were gone from the house for about an hour. The rest of the day we have done a little of this and a little of that while it rained outside. it was a good afternoon for napping and I think that we both took advantage of those napping conditions! I will say that thankfully the rain held off till we were home from Woody's appointment, so we got to and from the car each time in dry conditions. All this rain is supposed to turn to some form of frozen precipitation sometime during the night. Woody just got word that he is needed to teach Sunday School this Sunday because one of the other teachers is out of town and the other has a child who has tested positive for Covid. So both Woody and I are teaching this Sunday because of Covid. Marie still hasn't totally recovered from her bout with Covid...she is still weak and has no stamina. I guess it is time to get Woody's dialysis treatment set up for tonight. Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
