I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Medical Stuff From Dawn to Dark
This has been a day and a half! Got up when it was still dark to make Woody breakfast and get dialysis set up and to the point of connecting Woody when Davida got here at 8:30. Before I got him connected, I got a call from home health setting up an appointment time. I had stuck him for both needles and Davida took over so I could take the call. She set up for a nurse to come this aftrrnoon at 1:30pm. We already had an appointment with a medical agency via telemed. Woody and I got finished with dialysis right at 1pm. The telemed appointment happened closer to 1:30, but wasn't very long. I found out this agency is for wound care...they will come here...sounds good to us, if they can find a time that suits them and us! The home health nurse was a bit late, so that worked out well. Just as she was leaving the wound care people called back and were glad to be able to talk with her. It sounds like that when the nurse visits next week, the wound care doctor will do a telemed appointment at the same time. Not long after the nurse left, we got a call from the PT person and she was finished with her last patient and had time to come by and get paperwork filled out prior to first PT. She came a little before 4pm and didn't leave till 5pm. She got a workout as Woody had several problems while she was here, including a problem with low blood pressure. He had a similar "event" this morning as he was coming off dialysis. PT was very helpful with good sugestions that should help both Woody and me. He is supposed to get Occupational Therapy! Will we ever have a moment to breathe!?!?! To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
