I started this blog in 2009 to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 16 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. 6/16/24 Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Mid Week/Mid Month
Can you believe that almost half of January has come and gone? Time is certainly flying by. Today's major accomplishment = arranging with Joy to stop by and cut my hair! Good job, again, Joy! I so appreciate her skills...she learned her lessons well at cosmetology school. She is now making a decision as to where she will start practicing her skills "for real!" She is checking out one more place before shse makes her decision as to where to apply for a job. The rest of the day I did a little of this and a little of that. I started getting Carolers into their boxes...but got interrupted and haven't gotten back to that task, yet. I did carry a couple more filled boxes upstairs to join the ones that are ready to go back into the Christmas closet. I have read some of one of the books that I brought home from the library yesterday. I have just gotten home from Bible study and made a stop in the library before I left the church. I decided that I want to read the other two books that continue the story that I am reading now. I guess that I am getting back "into reading." But I do note that I haven't done much stitching since I have picked up a book. And, it is usually feast or famine when it comes to reading...once I get going on some good books it is hard to put them down and I want to keep on reading to the detriment of getting other things accomplished!!!! Oh, well...to be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
