Preliminaries

Today was preop day for Woody's Thursday surgery. He was gone about 2 hours and came home very tired! Luckily he didn't have to walk every where he had to go in the hospital. Once he got in with his walker, they got him in a wheelchair and pushed him to all the places that he needed to go. I know that they are going over things in his information because a nurse called from the hospital a little while ago to check about his allergies to adhesives and latex. Good to know that they are checking ahead of time! He did find out that I am allowed to go with him on Thursday morning and stay at the hospital during his surgery. Woody's will be his surgeon's 2nd surgery of the day. We are to be at the hospital by 7am. Nice that the hospital is less than 10 minutes away...happy we don't have a drive to Nashville! The phone rang again a little after the hospital called and it was a reminder/confirmation call for his appointment with TN Oncology on Wednesday. This week is filled with appointments for Woody.
