I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Happy Thanksgiving From Woody and Lois
And, tonight's photo shows what I have been doing all day! Five pies made and ready for our Pie Day tomorrow when the Proctor and the Dorrell families gather here for dessert. I "think" there's enough for 15! I made 2 pecan, 2 pumpkin, and 1 deep dish apple. We don't usually have apple, but I decided that we would change it up a bit this year and have more variety. Woody has had a good day. He feels fine today and even nibbled a bit on some of the pie makings...a few pecans, an apple slice, and even had a small piece of the Cranberry Orange bread...along with his three other meals...so he definitely feasted more today than he does most days lately! We hope that you and yours had a very thankful day! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
