I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Tulip Time
Our tulips are beginning to bloom. That means that it is almost time for Melany's birthday...and the tulips are correct...her birthday is only a few days away. We have stayed at home...another no appointment day. We are starting to get used to weeks with no appointments...better not get too used to no appointments...they pop up on the calendar again next week. This week the only medical thing on ourncalendar is a dialysis supplies delivery...at least that comes to us and we don't have to go any where. The delivery is tomorrow. We got a later delivery time this time...so I am glad that it doesn't conflict with his oncology appointment like it has in the last months. Oncology has moved due to him taking a couple weeks off after his surgery. I did a little cleaning today...got out the dust rag...still more to do but did get a start on that task. I am waiting on the dialysis solution to warm up and then I will get Woody set up and connected for his nightly dialysis treatment. Woody has had a day of puzzles, reading (maybe), TV watching, and a little napping. He enjoyed some of the apple cranberry crisp that I made yesterday. Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
