I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Full Friday
It was a busy day, but also a bit slower paced day compared to the days earlier in the week. Things are settling down for Christmas preparations. Going to Melany and Wade's for our family Christmas makes things easier on me. I am ready to sit back and coast through the rest of the holidays...stitching, reading, watching Christmas movies, etc. Speaking of Christmas movies, I watched an up-to-date Christmas movie today...very rarely do I see a current movie. And, I wouldn't have seen this one, if it hadn't been released for streaming about a month after it came out in the theaters. I probably wouldn't have even known about it if it hadn't been for an ad on TV for Farmer's Insurance. Anyway, I saw Red One...not "my kind" of Christmas movie. And the only reason that I saw it was that it was offered on Amazon Prime. I will stick the rest of the season to "feel-good" Christmas movies! I did my Krogering today. Picked up a couple of items that I needed for my next party that is coming up next week...more about that later! I also tried to get some things that sounded good to me to fix for my lunches and dinners during the weeks leading up to Christmas and after Christmas. I think I am good to go, as I have several meals planned, at leasat in my head! I did realize on my way home that I had forgotten one item...so I will have to go back when I am out running errands one day or another. I made chili this evening. After I publish the blog, I plan to have a bowl of it...a late, for me, supper tonight. I hope to get in a little stitching tonight. Last night I was too tired and fell asleep in the middle of a stitch and also missed the last part of one of "my shows!" I will have to depend on reruns to be able to see what happened at the end of Elsbeth! I woke up and the news was on. Oh, well...'tis the season! To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
