It’s Fixed!

Nathan came over this evening and installed the new electrical switch component on my sewing machine...not the easiest fix...but a successful one! I can now use the lift in my cabinet that lets me raise the machine up and down. I hadn't been able to replug in the machine when it was down low as the casing around the plug-in spot had broken. I could plug it in...but not easily...so just left the machine in its highest position so as not to have to unplug it. It is so much easier to sew with the machine level with the top of the sewing cabinet. I am a happy camper! i have pretty much made this a sewing day...mainly getting things organized to get ready to sew once again. I have also worked on a Christmas ornament that I am making for myself. It has been a rainy day so it was a good day to stay in and putter around the house. I plan to finish he ornament for me this evening. I wanted to go to the grocery store today, but put it off till tomorrow to see if I can find a dry time to head off...not sure that will happen. But I need to go before Monday, as Melany, Wade, Erin, Alex, and Brooke are coming to Tullahoma to sign some papers at the lawyers and after coming here for lunch. I am planning to make a pot of soup...but need a couple of ingredients. Well, back to my handsewing on the ornament...then I will use my fixed machine to finish making the ornament! 'Tis the season...for a little longer! To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
