I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Dinner and a Show!
Another busy day. Woody headed out for an early appointment at the chiropractor. He also stopped at the library on his way home. Before Woody got home school got underway. Isaac is so cute coming over. He headed right to the chair in the kitchen where his booster seat is and waited for me to help him up. He worked on sounds, animal names and sounds, and strung some colorful beads. Then Elijah came over. He reviewed the sounds that the letters make and then we made some three letter phonetic words with the movable alphabet. Then he used the beads and worked on counting to 20. Then he made pictures using different shapes. He keeps very busy during his school time! Graham and then Abigail had their reading times. Then Esther came over to read and have her special Grammy time. Today she and I worked on shortening her princess dress some more...even though I made more than triple the hem it was still waaaaaaaaaaaay too long. After she left I continued to work on the princess dress. We were invited over for supper tonight at Nathan and Kathy's. Just about everyone had had a part in making a yummy supper. After supper we were well entertained as tonight's photos show! After the show, Esther (and Joy...she's hoping for a purple princess dress!) tried on the princess dress...the latest adjustment to the length will allow her to run around in her dress without stepping on the skirt hem and tripping. The adjustment will enable us to let it down as she grows taller.
