I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Happy 13th, Kathy and Nathan!
Today has been a very busy day. Woody spent early morning on the phone making several appointments and also arranging for a plumber to take care of water heater problems. I got up and headed into our office/school room. My part of the neighbor grandchildren's homeschooling will commence tomorrow so I wanted to have the school room all nice and clean. While I was still working, the plumbers arrived and soon had our water heater draining so it could be replaced. We knew before we left for our NIH trip that the water heater was leaking...we were so thankful for a pan under the water heater this time...that definitely saved the floor and the toys. I continued on in the school room till it was time to fix supper. After we ate, we headed over to take care of Graham, Abigail, Joy, Esther, Elijah, and Isaac. Their mommy and daddy have gone out to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary. Isaac is already asleep. Woody was reading stories when I left to come over to blog. Tonight's photos of pomegranates growing in one of the Williamsburg gardens...something that neither of us had had seen before...only seen them for sale in the grocery store prior to this!
