I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Too Quickly Back To 21st Centuary!
Our time in Colonial Williamsburg seemed to fly by for me. As was predicted, rain it did. We woke up to rain and it rained a good part of the morning. We did head out when it was only lightly raining and there were very few wandering around...so it was easy to get pictures without unknown faces and bodies being in them! It quit raining for a while and we walked during that time. When it started raining again we headed back to "our house" to wait out the rain a bit and finish packing. We checked out and headed to Merchant Square and had lunch at The Trellis...yummy! It wasn't raining when we finished our lunch so we walked down a street we hadn't explored yet this trip. Then we headed back to the car as it began raining again. We meandered our way through the VA countryside (beautiful!) on our way to Fairfax where we are staying the night. Tomorrow Woody will have lab work and scans. So the good Lord willing, I'll be blogging from Bethesda, MD tomorrow night. I'll share some Williamsburg pictures when we return to Tullahoma.
