I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Settling Back In...
As we settle back in here at home in Tullahoma, I thought that I would share photos of the Brick House Tavern and room that we settled into while we were in Williamsburg. The first picture shows the front of our Williamsburg abode and the second shows the back (Do you see the tavern cat?)...note all the doors...all private entrances as I explained in last night's blog. By the way the sign says 16 rooms (last night's photo) and I mentioned that there were 12 separate entrances to the individual rooms...but there are four more rooms upstairs. We did enter into a main front door into a front entry way that lead to the hallway to our room. We had a corner room. It doesn't happen very often anymore, but we used a regular old fashioned key to let ourselves in the house and our room...no electronic key cards here! The rest of the pictures show the furnishings in our room. (And, yes, you do see a few modern items...flat screen TV and electric lights and electric outlets and coffee maker (that made very good English Breakfast Tea)...thank goodness for the electricity and a bathroom!) We did have a private bath which I didn't photograph. We could leave our room from the outside door in our room...just couldn't reenter there for security reasons. Woody headed off pretty early this morning to do our weekly grocery shopping. I got up and got ready to head off to have breakfast with my ladies' Sunday School class. We met at a little breakfast restaurant in Decherd, TN...Sunshine (The Breakfast Place)...good fellowship and good food. After we ate, several of us went to some of the stores in Decherd and Winchester...a very nice morning. I came home and got busy preparing tomorrow's Sunday School lesson. Woody has been sort of taking it easy. He is having sciatic pain in his leg...so he has been resting it and trying to figure out what the best remedy is for it!
