Results

My efforts of the last couple of days have produced results...not much to see with the lacing...but you can see what I was doing. I'll show you the other sides when I get them in the frames. One of the needlework pieces I ended up having to lace two fabrics onto the core board. The white board behind the light weight cream colored fabric on the one piece just didn't look good so I laced ona piece of cream muslin under the piece and that made a lot of difference...if I had let Hobby Lobby lace the pieces onto the board, that step wouldn't have happened and I probably wouldn't have been all that happy with the end product! I am very pleased with the box that I FINALLY finished. I have had that sitting waiting to be finished for months. When I finished lacing the three pieces for framing, I thought that I should just keep doing finishing...this needed lacing too so since I was lacing, I continued to lace that piece, too. So I actually have a fully finished project. That was one of the samplers that I stitched after I got back to stitching seriously during shut-down during Covid...note the date of 2021. Well, I bought the graph back in the late 90s and finally stitched it in 2021. It took me a while to find the right box to mount it on. I found that at Hobby Lobby earlier this year. And...FINALLY...it is ready to set about in my house the end of October of 2024. Yay! I am slowly but surely finishing projects that have been laying around. Part of getting things cleared away so I can work on the stockings that Melany needlepointed. No way could I ever get bored with what all I have to do around here...can always move to another project as soon as I complete one...or can just move to another whether it is completed or not! I have been to Bible study at church tonight and am home settling in for the evening. To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
