Tuesday

I never know how my days will go or which direction they will go in. Though...I do usually have a plan for after lunch on Tuesday...work in the church library. Donna and I got our usual library work-day plan in place and then I decided what I would do with my morning. The three needlework pieces were sort of staring at me. I knew that I needed to get them stretched on the core board, as I want them ready for Hobby Lobby's call to tell me that the frames are ready. I managed to get one stretched and ready and another one almost ready. I plan to complete that after I blog. i'm not sure if I will work on the third one tonight or wait till tomorrow. After lunch, I headed to the library and we continued to weed books and worked on a new book order. The phone was ringing when I opened the front door and this time the phone was telling me that it was someone I know calling...Melany. We talked for a while. We even talked a little about Thanksgiving...I need to get input from Melany and Wade and Nathan and Kathy as to just what we will have. We're all going to share in what we are going to make. In the past when had Thanksgiving Dinner here, I usually made all of it and we pretty much followed the same menu. This year I think we will stray from that and let the two families bring favorites of theirs for this meal. I'll make the basics...turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and pies...and whatever else we decide as we get more into planning. Thanksgiving is four weeks from Thursday. Christmas...do we really want to know?!? Christmas is eight weeks from Tomorrow! Lots happening in the next two months! I did stitch some more last night and now have four stitched of what I am planning. I finished another book. It looks like I'm on the path of having read about two books per month this year...my usual goal is a book a week...not this year. That's okay...lots has gone on this year! To be continued! Be safe!
