I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for 15 1/2 years…sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. June 16th Woody took his final breath in his long health battle. I have blogged for so long that it is part of my daily routine…so I guess I will continue with posts from me about how I cope with this new stage in my life…widowhood.

Seeing a Little More Fall Color
It has been another beautiful Fall day in Middle Tennessee. We saw the 80s today...won't be seeing too many more days this year that let the temperatures get into the 80s. Today was a cooking day for me...a rice and crab concoction that I made up the recipe for years ago. By the time I had that made, ate some of it for lunch, and then got the mess cleaned up that about did me in for the rest of the afternoon. My back and neck were really hurting...so...I headed to my upstairs recliner and turned on the heating pad and rested and read. I never did take a nap...just got comfotable and relaxed for a while. I talked to Cheryl. It's her granddaughter's 18th birthday, today...lots of birthdays in our family during October! After I talked with Cheryl for a while, I headed off to church for Wednesday Bible study. I'm home and once again, very ready to settle in for the night! To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
