12 Days of Christmas: Day 6 = New Year’s Eve 2025

So the last day of 2025 is coming to a close. I have had a pretty busy day. I spent some time in the kitchen. I made myself a sweet snack for New Year's Eve nibbling. I plan to have some popcorn for my savory nibble. This afternoon, I made blueberry muffins using blueberries from Nathan and Kathy's blueberry bushes that grow on my back lot. I froze several bags of blueberries during the summer harvest. Nice to have them to use at this time of the year. I took these muffins to my across the street neighbor whose husband died unexpectedly last week. I also made one last ornament for this year for myself and hung it on the tree. This ornament represents the online needlework event that I took part in the first weekend in December. It will be my memory of that event when I hang it on my tree each year...one more memory added to my Christmas tree! The JB stands for the name of the event: Jingle Ball. I plan to spend the evening stitching and watching TV. I can tell that we may be in for a loud evening as I keep hearing loud pops of fire crackers...quite a few hours till the New Year appears, but I guess folk are enjoying the anticipation of the coming of 2026! Tis the season! To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
