In twelve more hours we should be at Vanderbilt checking in. We finally got a call around 3:30pm telling Woody to be at Vanderbilt at 8am. That means that Melany will start heading our way at 5am and get us about 45min. later and she will then turn around and retrace her "steps" and then go beyond where she started at 5am to head on to Vanderbilt. It is supposed to be rainy in the morning. I posted a nice sunny picture tonight...hoping that the worst of the rain might have already passed us by! Now...the time we are to get there probably doesn't reflect on his surgery time. All his other surgeries have met with a long wait in the big outer waiting room. Time will tell if tomorrow follows the former pattern!
We have been getting ready. Both of us ran a couple of errands...at different times so someone could be here to get the phone when the Vanderbilt call came. I have been packing and am about finished. Hopefully what I have thrown in the little rolling suitcase will get us through Woody's stay.
I guess tomorrow is a day for surgery for the Dorrells, as Graham will be having oral surgery to
remove his four wisdom teeth in the morning.
I'll report in tomorrow when his surgery is completed.
