I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for almost 15 years...sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. My husband was in remission with his Melanoma but new melanoma diagnosis 3/2021 so started back on Keytruda. 8/2020 began home Peritoneal Dialysis. 7/2022 began training for home hemodialysis…never a dull moment! Come join us in our daily routine...sometimes humdrum...sometimes sit on the edge of your seat!

Fun Friday
Woody's Friday may not have been as fun as mine! He headed off a little after 7am to take his friend to a doctor appointment in Franklin, TN. I got up and got ready for a "library meeting!" Not really a library meeting, but a visit with my church co-librarian. She came over and spent part of the morning with me. As she was getting ready to head home she realized that we hadn't managed to talk about all that we might have! Up to this sheltering at home, we spent time together both on Sunday and Wednesdays...so there was lots to catch up on. We have been keeping in touch via phone on most Wednesday afternoons but it just isn't the same as when we get together in person. We had met out on the front porch one time during this "stay at home" time. Woody was away so we met in the coolness of the living room. We had chocolate zucchini bread and iced tea and chatted. We chased many rabbits!
Woody got home sometime between noon and 1 after the trip to Franklin and then running errands for his fiend here in town. He sat on the front porch for a while this afternoon. One of his crossword puzzles didn't print this morning (We had been getting low ink warnings for probably a month and the black finally ran out!). This afternoon I changed the ink cartridge and printed his puzzle. So he worked his puzzle a bit later than usual. He's now enjoying his Friday evening news programs. Once again...a rather dull Frieay evening in our household...dull or not...it is the way we like it! I'm all for my recliner and a good book!
Be safe!
Be well!
Be cautious!
