I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for almost 15 years...sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. My husband was in remission with his Melanoma but new melanoma diagnosis 3/2021 so started back on Keytruda. 8/2020 began home Peritoneal Dialysis. 7/2022 began training for home hemodialysis…never a dull moment! Come join us in our daily routine...sometimes humdrum...sometimes sit on the edge of your seat!

This Sweet Cowboy is 10!
I borrowed this picture from his sister Esther's Facebook page...an up-to-date photo...taken with one of the twin kids born on a very cold and snowy day! Joseph got something for his birthday that he wasn't wishing for...the flu. His brothers and sisters shared what they had last week. This is a time that I'm sure that he wished they hadn't shared! Just think all 9 of our grandchildren are now double digits in age. Joseph became two handfuls today...his family better watch out! Feel better, Joseph. Our gifts to him are taking their time getting here due to inclement weather. Today was the first time we have gotten mail in a week...and no packages were among them. We keep getting notificaitons that they are delayed and will get here eventually! We had another quiet stay-at-home day. We are assuming that dialysis will be on a normal schedule tomorrow since we didn't hear from them today. So it will be up and at um early in the morning. In he end our prayer meeting decided to wait till next week to get back to meeting since there are still ice patches on the road. Nathan said that it is slick at both ends of our road. One thing good...it's supposed to stay above freezing all night tonight. Finally it is warming up. To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautioous!
