I started this blog to keep folk up to date on my husband's melanoma treatments. I have kept up daily blogs for almost 15 years...sometimes health related...sometimes just daily routine. My husband was in remission with his Melanoma but new melanoma diagnosis 3/2021 so started back on Keytruda. 8/2020 began home Peritoneal Dialysis. 7/2022 began training for home hemodialysis…never a dull moment! Come join us in our daily routine...sometimes humdrum...sometimes sit on the edge of your seat!

August Starts Off With A Party!
Esther knows how to start off a month...with her sixth birthday party! She isn't actually six for a couple more days, but with all our busy schedules this was the best day for her party. As you can see, she and her dolly make very pretty princesses (secret sewing project). She even had a pink castle cake. She had a fun time opening presents first and then we had cake and ice cream. After the party Woody and I headed off to vote in a city election. Woody realized in the wee hours of the morning that he had another kidney stone so he didn't sleep the best. He went downstairs to watch DVD's since he wasn't able to sleep. At a point he decided to go for a walk and walked ten miles. He said that the walking helped. Tonight he knows that he has had a problem...but isn't hurting too badly. He says that at least at the moment it isn't moving. I cleaned some this morning...something that had been neglected around here due to the birthday surprise sewing.
