Sure enough...I opened my eyes this morning and it was Monday...again! Seems like it was Monday just yesterday! Time flies when you are having fun...and, even if you aren't! We had another low-key day...no appointments. We did get a call confirming an appointment later in the week with his surgeon. The rest of his appointments are with hemodialysis and the peritoneal dialysis nurse...he has both of those tomorrow. The PD nurse wanted to do the flush the day before Woody goes to see the surgeon. Then we don't know what kind of dialysis he will be having after seeing his surgeon. We don't know how quickly he will want Woody to start back on PD. Woody is hoping that he will get to start on PD immediatley after his appointment. We will see what the doctor says. But the PD flushes continue to go well. I have the solution warming right now and will do the flush shortly after I finish blogging. Joy came over today to work on making a label for a T-shirt quilt/blanket that Kathy has made for Abigail for graduation. Kathy brought her and came in and visited with for a while. Then she left to go get Esther and their two barn cats to get their shots, etc. Joy kept sewing and Nathan stopped by to pick her up. Nathan replaced one of the skis on the back legs of Woody's walker. After Joy finished and she and Nathan headed back home, I headed off to the library to pick up a book that I had put on hold for Woody. Timing worked out pretty well as Woody finished with the book he had been reading just shortly before I went to the library. This evening Woody went to the Monday Night Furnace Room Prayer Meeting. He is back and we are both settled in for another quiet evening. Woody is watching TV and probably reading and I still have a little cleaning in the kitchen. Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
