Happy Birthday, Goosey!

Woody has had a double celebration for his birthday this year.  When Melany and Erin came here last Saturday, they brought him gifts and he celebrated.  And, then our nine next door neighbors arrived bearing a fruit box for his actual birthday today.  They decided to go the fruit route instead of a cake this year.  These are all fruits that he can eat. So he has quite a few treats to enjoy over the next days. I added the poinsettia to our kitchen Christmas decor.

Donna and I worked in the library for a short while today...our last library work day this year...guess, really the last of this decade!  After we worked a while, I went to WalMart to do a little shopping.  I found something for Woody's birthday and also found gifts for the two younger boys...so a successful shopping trip.

Woody has had a calm stay-at-home birthday.  The two younger boys came over this morning and did some of their homeschool work with me while their parents were occupied with returning some items to the church.  Abigail is busy making cheesecakes for Christmas orders.  I think that she baked at least three...maybe four over here.  She has at least 25 to make and that order could grow as someone asked if she would make 20 more!  That last 20 more order hasn't been confirmed yet. But she is working diligently on the 25 she knows she is making. 'Tis the season!
