Eye Doing Well

Just found out that these cute little kitties have gone to their forever home. The family who came to get two ended up taking all four. Before they came to get the kittens they decided which two they wanted...but the little boy fell in love with one of the other two. And, the mama still wanted both of the ones they wanted originally. And, she didn't want to leave one all by its lonesome...so...they now have four kittens! Woody had a good dialysis day. Then the rest of the day we have both taken it easy. This evening when I put in his next to the last set of drops for the day, I asked him to look at the TV with just the eye that had the surgery and he could see it. He could identify the person on the screen. So things are definitely heading in the right direction! He still feels more comfortable wearing the patch. He is afraid that he will reach up and rub his eye...the patch reminds/stops him from doing that. Nathan and Kathy just stopped by to check on Woody and visited for a few minutes. That's how I found out about the kittens. I still have the last set of drops to put in at bedtime...with those...we will have completed three days of drops. Tomorrow I hope that he will attempt to wear the patch less and realize how much better he can see to do crossword puzzles, watch TV, and read. Tomorrow we don't have to head off for any appointments so maybe the lower-key day will let that happen...IF...he can remember to keep his hands away from that eye!!!!! To be continued! Be safe! Be well! Be cautious!
